I'm not a big fan of Avenged Sevenfold. In fact....I dislike most of their songs that i've heard while only liking a select few. But one thing I could recognize is that this guy (http://marquee.blogs.cnn.com/2009/12/29/avenged-sevenfold-drummer-james-sullivan-dies-28/) was a friggin great drummer.

Dead at 28 of what they're right now calling natural causes. Regardless of whether or not you like his band's collective work, I doubt that anyone in their right mind could say that he wasn't a talented young guy.

Is it just me or are there lots of younger famous people dying of "natural causes" lately? Of course it's probably only "natural" until they get his toxicology reports back and he's done more blow than a 1980's Robin Williams...

Funn you mention RW... I was watching inside the actors studio and they talked about his cocaine addiction and James Litpon asked, was it Belushi's death that got you off cocaine?

Robin's response, "yeah and the grand jury helped alot too."

That's SO fuckin' weird man. I was literally just reading Robin Williams's Wikipedia page AND THAT EXACT QUOTE WAS THE LAST LINE OF IT I READ, before coming back on here and reading this thread... :eek: :shifty:

dieing in a famous metal band at 28, natural causes would be very surprisingly to me. as for the band im not a fan on the whole, but beast and the harlots a good song, one of my favourites in guitar hero 2 to be a nerd about it.

As soon as I read this I asked my kid what up as I know I've bought a few or so A7F tees at Hot Topic in the past.
She said, "Natural causes...," using quotation fingers.

There a band like the black dahlia murder. they have no hardcore fanbase, some like them, some dont, most dont know them.

my sister-in-law works for WB Records. As a result, we often get packages of CDs from her. Avenged Sevenfold was in one about a year or so back... I plugged it in and it went directly into my beer coaster pile.

Damn shame though.

Avenged Sevenfold are extremely popular amongst emo kids here in the UK. IMO they suck, but they do have a LOT of tweenie fans - that's why this gets in the news and the death of (underrated heavy metal band) Evile's bassist Mike Alexander goes totally unreported and overlooked.

Mike was also one of the very, very few black men to ever make it in the heavy metal world. His death was a tragic loss. :(
