Silly question, is there a central website or list of all the assorted horror conventions going on in 2010? My puppet crew has a taste for con dates now, & I was gonna try & hustle up more gigs.

I'm checking the Intertubes, but I'm having no luck. Anyone?

When I saw the title of the thread, I thought you wanted a list of bad things about the Midwest. . . .ie. . . .

1. Flat
2. Too grassy
3. Not enough shade
4. Idaho
etc etc

Shit, I was wondering when someone was going to bring up the snow. I'll take the heat ANY day over the white stuff.

Altho' we'll see if my crew will still be talking to each other after the road trip to St Louis & back,

It's nice to plan ahead.


And since I live here:

The Midwest is cold, flat, dull, and very difficult to find a date in, if you're not into large women.

I run a website called From Dusk Till Con - we focus on all things dealing with horror conventions and provide news, guest updates, reviews, and a calendar on our site with all upcoming shows all over the country. We also have a forum for people to talk about upcoming conventions and meet up at the shows.

Those of us that run the site are based mostly out of Illinois and are large majority of the members that frequent our forums are from the midwest.

We've only been around since October of 2009, but in that short time weve created a great network or conventions fans and have alot of cooperation from convention promoters to provide inside info to our audience before it is even officially announced at time.
