I aint gonna lie i like these movies, not as owt special but there entertaining. 'cept the first, love the soundtrack and atmosphere but michele rodriguez is the red light for a shitty cast of acting skills in a film. 2 was fun raccoon city outbreak bullcrap and 3 was a nice chance to see something big budget involving zombies not set in one location for the whole damn thing.

Dont get me wrong im not really excited for this, but its resident evil and it hopefully will not end with a man/fridge/brick/shithouse falcon punching a boulder in a volcano.

According to the novelization of the third movie, Jill was across the country in Baltimore helping the survivors there. Take that as you will.

I heard rumors that she was going to be in this new movie, is that true?

Gotta admit, half of it looks cool. Got a lot of neat stuff from resi 5 in there. but all the bullshit underoworld style "LETHA'N'BULIT-TAHM" bullshit is a put off.

-Also the 3d thing was a surprise, and incredibly cheesy. i personally dont give two shits about 3d movies, there a neat novelty but not worth a price jack on tickets.

Not keen on them thar new fangled 3D gubbins to be honest, I'll stick with the standard BD release. It does look like the other three movies though, pure brainless fun. :)

Not sure, but them giving THE main character (along with chris who has gotten none) what amounts to a bit part in the series has never sat well with me.

I got interested when I saw James Cameron's name, but then was put off when I had to freeze frame to read that they are just using the guy's camera equipment. State of the art gear alone does not make a good movie. I am pretty certain if you gave the same equipment to Uwe Boll, he would still make a straight to the $5 bin dvd.
