I must say that not many titles for the wii excite me. However, I'm really looking forward to this one. I'm not sure if it's nostalgia or what but no other game i quite like this one. Again, proof that a simple game can kick ass as well.

I wish NBA Jam: TE would come to XBL Arcade.

It has to be a liscensing issue of some sort. They have a game called nba unleashed fo 15 bucks. I downloaded the demo and I'm warning you to stay away from that turd. :dead:

It's a really bad imitation.

So the only way to get this game if you are a 360/ps3 owner is to pick up a copy of NBA elite?

There are no plans on releasing a standalone version of 360/ps3.... That kind of sucks... I may pick it up but then again if it's not available on xbl then that cuts down on how many friends that will have it that in turn cuts down on incentive to pick it up.

Also the version that comes with elite is missing modes... It only has campaign, multiplayer and play now mode.

I too was hoping for a multi platform release as the wii makes you do certain things, shaking the controller to elbow a defender off of you for example, that makes the game annoying for me.

I've always said they should give players the option of turning the motion controls off and playing the game standard if they choose.

Imo, that would make it way more appealing to hardcore gamers, which i know haven't been their target demographic for quite some time now.
