You've made my day, Sir! I just finally picked up and read the first book earlier this month, and, true to the words of Z.A. Recht's foreword for the book, it was truly gripping from beginning to end.

Looking forward to the follow up!

It was Day By Day Armageddon by J.L. Bourne. It's written as though it were a journal with daily entries, and takes a nice look at one man's struggles through a world falling into a zombie apocalypse.

Here (http://www.amazon.com/Day-Armageddon-J-L-Bourne/dp/1439176671/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1272055623&sr=8-1) is the Amazon link for the book.

i may pick this one up. i read the first book and it was pretty damned good.

i will add, however, that i think the guy designing the covers for these books ought to be fucking fired. talk about cheesy. i don't recall the picture from the cover of the first book even being slightly relevant to the story, and this one looks pretty stupid too.

i know, don't judge a book by its cover, yeah, yeah, but goddamn...i think my 4 year-old neice could come up with a better design than that.

glad to see that raptorman has found success with his journal, he really deserves it.

the author used to post on the old forum, and at the time it was an online journal type thing that he periodically updated.

I should pick it up some time.

Just ordered this sequel...the first novel/journal was really good...solid, wholesome, zombie fare!

Yeah, I remember him. He's even been on these forums a few times.

I recall when he took all the stuff off his website, I was super bummed as I was a follower from pretty much day 1. Still have yet to get the book.
