Please, pass me over for crucifixion just this once and allow me to pose the question "Where could I find a decent place to submit a piece of literary fiction?" I'm not sure but what it isn't crap to begin with and I was never much of a fan of Hemingway or Steinbeck or all the other "Classic" fiction writers that they force fed us in school. Still, I try my hand at it from time to time and am relatively pleased with this one in particular. I haven't been satisfied or, really able to submit to most of the places I've found so far.
Its about 1,500-1,600 words give or take and has only one or two lines of monologue. Mostly narration/reflection on a certain event in the protagonist's life.
I'd appreciate any thoughts at all.
