Official GTA Romeroland Thread

Ok, so i will post any new vids, pics, or other developments with my mod here. The first island is done, and now it's on to the other 2. All i gotta do is model monroeville mall and a few other things. :p Heres a couple vids i made tonight. one is just more zombie killing, but also has some vehicle locations and such. I added those yellow markers to enter the house at the front and back door. (not featured in the vid). Also i did a new version of my original vid which is the opening scene from night. This time i used the right car and it looks more like the movie. ;) I know this prob wont get too many hits for some reason, (although it's the closest thing we have to a romero game besides maybe dead rising or the land of the dead new maps) but comments are welcome. give me ideas too!

Bens truck
Johnnies car
Weapon placements
Vehicle placements
A savepoint in the basement
A small town on the island

Monroeville mall
107 building
The airstrip
part of downtown ft. Meyers
Edison theater
The mine

Thanks guys! It's a really easy game to get a copy of! i recommend it for many mods! This thing is fun for even me to play. Run around and cap mad zombies. Never gets old, but in familiar environments it's just a blast. I added new lighting to the inside and out of the farmhouse. Heres a video. It's kinda bright in some spots, but i think you'll agree it's creepy! Especially in the basement! Anyhow, The mall and mine are gonna take awhile, but count on seeing teaser shots that will hopefully make your mouths water! haha. I think this is gonna be the closest thing we'll ever get to a total 3 movie map of Romero's original trio.

my current rig is about fucked, on its last legs..but i do plan on picking up a new computer sometime before the fall semester starts, and a promise i'll get your mod (been drooling over it since you began it way back) once i've got a new computer to run it.

keep up the good work, dude. looking great, can't wait to see the cave, mall, and whatever else you come up with...(maybe even the police docks/apartments/airport).

BIG NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With a little help from Trin and the guys at undead games, I was able to convert the bub model over from land of the dead to San Andreas! With permission from the textures creator, this will be part of my mod!!! Bub in GTA!!!

And of course you can play as Bub! I think you guys know me good enough to know big daddy will not be included in this mod. :p

It's really quite easy. I can't make self installers yet. :( but even if you can't figure it out, i can log onto your comp and install it for you. :)
