More than likely. It's shocking that a person can ignore these sorts of warning signs, and it annoys the hell out of me that this guy will probably be alone with this same dog many, many more times in the future after the 18 month moratorium is up.

I wonder if this guy had taken the dog to the vet or an animal hospital right away, as opposed to waiting two agonizing days, whether its injured eye would still have needed to be removed...

Despite absolute hatred and revulsion for this S.O.B, I actually find that the vast majority of my contempt, helpless frustration, and total disgust are reserved for this needy hoe who would rather keep a man not worth having, not worth LIVING, rather than recognize what a monster he is and thus choose to be alone for awhile.

It's BS like this that's killed my ability to feel ANY sympathy for women who keep going back to the same guy who regularly assaults, pimps out, or got her hooked on drugs, while probably molesting her kids.

That's exactly the kind of woman this is. She knows damn well Dear Ole Boyfriend raged out on the poor little dog, because I guarantee she's seen him rage out when things don't go his way before. She just chooses to ignore what a monster he is because recognizing it openly would put the responsibility to choose to be alone rather than remaining with a monster on her.

Oh, not that I approve of sweepingly broad negative generalities about our troops, but believing that soldiers that have "gone bad" are incredibly rare is about as accurate as being Priest pedophiles are almost unheard of. Some of them are genuinely suffering from service-related traumas that make them violent, but being brutally honest as someone with several relatives that have served, some soldiers just get a taste for violence that doesn't just vanish when they're discharged.

I think i'm going to have to agree with mike here. I don't at all agree with what the guy did, but it's not uncommon. Animals are abused everyday. He did his time, so now he's moving on.

At least the guy got some sort of punishment. You can't say the same for WAY too many child molesters and murderers still walking the streets....

The thread is about animal abuse and people were commenting on the guy abusing the dog. It makes ya think if he can be that abusive to a dog, what else is he capable of doing? Really kicking a dog so hard he broke his ribs, then the poor dog had to have an eye removed. That is over and beyond abuse.
If this thread was about pedofiles and child abuse we all would be on it just like we are on about this poor little dog, only a lot worse!
I think that girl should have second thoughts being around this guy, the progression of abuse starts out sometimes with animals. If he has that much anger in him who knows what he could or would do in the future if he gets angry?
