Reports say the pilot only recieved minor injuries, some scapes & a sore back.

That could've been a lot worse...

definitely, i bet most of it was from the ejection blast as shown. but i do think he ejected way too late

I think he did leave it a bit late to bail...but when you are deciding wether to abandom several million dollars worth of aircraft (leaving it to blow the Hell up), it's one of thos "leave it as long as you can" kind of choices.

Glad the guy is ok.
