Unable to edit post to change title, or delete a thread

Notice when editing a post to change the title, the change is reflected within the thread but it does not change the title of the original post.

Also there is no provision enabled for a post author to delete a single post or entire thread.

I know the old forum worked the same way, but most other forums will let you modify or delete your posts.
