Now if this isn't the strangest movie tie-in....

After 25 years, Stay Puft Marshmallows are a reality. Not only are they a reality, but each one of them is packed with the same amount of Caffeine as one cup of coffee! As if balls of sugar weren't bad enough, they had to add caffeine? A pack can be purchased for 20 bucks through Thinkgeek (http://www.thinkgeek.com/caffeine/candy/e59b/). I doubt i'll eat them, but this is definitely going on my shelf. If they bring back Hi-C Ecto coolers, I'll be set....

Now where are our officially licensed Beef Treats?:p

:stunned: I want.

$20 is a bit steep, though...

"What did you do, Ray?!" :D

So when is George Carlin's "Sprunt" feminine deodorant spray gonna hit the market?!

Steep yes, but I'd buy it as a collector's item anyway.

Bassman, if you don't buy an extra pack to taste test, please try and remember to give us a review from someone who has, as I know you keep your ear to the ground in the communities of the Ghostbuster fandom.

I'm honestly intrigued...they look full of wholesomely, sinful goodness. I want to deep fry one...

I actually decided to pass on these after seeing some reviews at a GB site. Basically....it's not worth 20 bucks. The box is much smaller than it appears on thinkgeek's site, the marshmallows taste like regular store-bought, and the caffeine has done nothing for all of the people that's tried it.

So no.....no wasting of 20 bucks from me. I may get them later if they're cheap on Ebay. Here's one of their photos that shows the true size of the box:

You mean no reliving fireside marshmallow roasts at Camp Lokonda (http://www.lokanda.com/), Bassman!? :(

Still, thanks for the info. I was just curious, as that picture is damned enticing.

"I tried to think of the most harmless thing. Something from my childhood. Something that could never ever possibly destroy us. The cutie pie holding the marshmallows" :p

I wonder if Murray and the rest are getting royalties out of this?

It's possible. Murray is one of the owners. If any of them are getting anything out of this, it's probably Aykroyd seeing how he created the character.

I figured that being the only reason another film was made was money.
