He's basically a test driver for the show Top Gear. He'd set various lap times in the supercars and occasionally take part in the challenges..

The revealing of his identity is sad, the whole point of the Stig was that nobody knew who he was. The mystique.

I suppose he is the ex-Stig now. Roll on Stig III. (The first one disappeared when he couldn't break in time and his car fell off the front of an aircraft carrier!)

I think my favourite Stig stunt was the ski bike jump of a ski slope.

Reminds me of when i finally saw that clip of the Mexican masked wrestler "Santo" pulling off his mask and revealing a normal looking middle aged latino. From then on the mystique was gone. :lol:
