The writers dug themselves into a corner in Resident Evil Extinction, having the virus destroy the world and highlighting civilisation had collapsed was a bad move and featuring the Plagas in this one will be pointless.

I'll give it a whirl. Can't be any worse than Piranha 3-D. I hope.

Nah, I haven't even gotten around to seeing the last installment of the franchise yet.

my opinion is that this movie is completely unnecessary and i'm not going to waste a minute of my time watching it. fuck those movies.:whatever:

oh, and another opinion is that these new smilies are pretty nifty.

I watched all three of the original movies on BD this week, at the end of Resi 3, the hologram computer wotsit says that Alices blood contains the cure ( :whatever: ) and that everything she needs to process and distribute it is "right here in the facility". So, even though the world has been ravaged, at least all the effects of that T-Virus can be reversed.

Just thought I'd point that out...oh, and Resi 3 looks fucking incredible on BD, the desert shots are breathtaking. :stunned:

Edit: Why do I get the impression that the little :whatever: guy is going to see some serious use on this forum? :D

Just watched it, it's a poorely written piece of fan service but the action is entertaining enough to keep you through it. Any talk about using alice for the cure is gone, the world is no longer a ravaged desert and all the fan service like the las plagas has no explanation. -And yeah, it ends with another shitty opener for resident evil 5....

I'd watch it, but i wouldn't PAY to watch it.

-also in hd 3d video the cgi is tu'rabile. Like people floating above the floor in a scene and other such bollocks.

I like Milla, she is slightly nuts...I'll grab it on BD when it hits a decent price

1# in the box-office and more sequels to come. I wish the serious would reboot with a diffrent cast, writers, etc. Btw, she looks hot in the photo.

#1 at the box office in the US, true and by a good margin, but what a horrible box office weekend otherwise!

Despite horrible reviews....this thing still gets first. I suppose the lack of competition helped it along as well.

*sigh*....more crap sequels to come.

I'll say this though. If anything they're atleast good popcorn flicks, which is more than I can say for GAr's recent offerings.

It's not even a question that this franchise would get my money before Gar's next flick.

What do you think would happen if a GAr flick and a new RE film were released on the same weekend? It would be a masacre.

What's bad is that Gar did this to himself.

I'll watch it... I mean, rent it... yeah... I couldn't sit through the third one, and fell asleep near the end of the second, but this one looks.... okay. Maybe I'll have better luck.

They barely earn that title, if you ask me. And I usually stand up for popcorn flicks, but the RE sequels were absolutely gut wrenching. Horrible. The second more so than the third. I don't think you could pay me to sit through the second one again. Well....maybe I would for Jill Valentine and her tight clothes, but that's it! :p

Again, it's amazing how we disagree.

The second is actually my fav!

Then again my fav Nightmare on elm Street is the second. :shifty:

I saw this yesterday and I was entertained. The 3D with the Real 3D system was pretty damn good...

The movie wasnt a masterpiece but it sure was better than GAR's last trilogy. Visually it was pretty cool, and seeing Wesker be Wesker was worth the price of admission.

Worth the price I paid for the BD alone. Sienna fucking rocks in that movie.

Your kidding right? I thought this film was it. I mean how long can they possibly keep on going?

Now, now they can't be so, bad that their at Gay '08 quality. :dead:

If their atleast, better than that I'm sure most can tolerate watching them.

As long as it's making money. Look at the Saw or Final Destination series....

Yeah, dumb question. I just need too see some 80's franchises to know where this is heading.

Oh well, with the except of the first film it's not like this series was that great to begin with so, meh let them keep poping them out.

Just a heads up for fans of this series. The first three films are on sale at Amazon in a Blu Ray box set for only 25 bucks. That's almost 60 percent off. Hell of a deal if you're into these films...
