Are there certain normal names that you wouldn't name your child because they remind you of something bad?

haha for me I think Adolf is ruined

Hurm..."John Wayne" is probably right out. Gacy AND Bobbit ruined that one...:mad: :lol:

I remember reading a year or so back about some rednecks that named their kid Adolph Hitler. :|

Can't really think of many others, though. In picking a name for my daughter or any future kids, I can't choose anything with a "J". More than half of my family is "J" names and the older members always "call role" when they're trying to talk to us. "John, Jeff, Jenny, Jonathon, Jesse, I mean JASON!" :lol:

There was a mother who named their kid "Adolf Hitler *lastnamehere*". The barber refused to cut the kids hair because of it lol

Certain names that don't go well with my last name would be off the list. Then, maybe some of the really common ones would have to come off the list , as well.

I could never name my kid anything that starts with an "M". That would just be silly.
