its a 4 pack dvd included with the specialist, tango and cash, and over the top.

the transfer is BEAUTIFUL. far outweighs the stand alone demolition man dvd.

also it looks like they've added a few seconds of extra movie. just some alternate, extended or added shots of certain scenes, nothing major but its great to see. also so extra dialogue.

sorry just had to pass it along. theres seriously scenes where u go "what the fuck, i dont remember this"

Not my favourite Stallone movie - I quite liked their Orwellian world that they lived in. Peaceful, beautiful, and no bad language. I dunno why Leary had such a problem with it - but I wasn't happy thinking that hooligan was out on the town vandalising it. Jesus. The only silly thing was the attitudes to sex, relationships, and things that are bad for you - but everything else was pretty spot on and far better than the 1997 LA that Stallone's character left behind...!

I really dig Demolition Man. Saw it for the first time in ages a while ago and absolutely loved it all over again. One of Stallone's career highlights for sure.

Symph - aye, aside from all the puritanical nonsense, the world isn't all that bad ... bung in some swearing, sex and good-but-bad-for-you food, with a general sense of freedom and bingo. Although they did have Stallone's character say that neither extreme was good, it had to be a mix in the middle. San Angeles was clean and safe and advanced, but it was oppressive and not as free as those living within it perceived it to be ... it was an interesting flick.

What's with those damn three seashells though? :D

You see, according to Cocteau's plan, I'm the enemy, 'cause I like to think; I like to read. I'm into freedom of speech and freedom of choice. I'm the kind of guy who likes to sit in a greasy spoon and wonder, "Gee, should I have the T-bone steak or the jumbo rack of barbecued ribs with the side order of gravy fries?" I WANT high cholesterol. I wanna eat bacon and butter and BUCKETS of cheese, okay? I want to smoke a Cuban cigar the size of Cincinnati in the non-smoking section. I want to run through the streets naked with green Jell-o all over my body reading Playboy magazine. Why? Because I suddenly might feel the need to, okay, pal? I've SEEN the future. Do you know what it is? It's a 47-year-old virgin sitting around in his beige pajamas, drinking a banana-broccoli shake, singing "I'm an Oscar Meyer Wiener".

Coincidentally, I had a party at my place this past weekend and me and two buddies were discussing how the three seashells were used! One swore up and down he heard the method you linked us with, but I wasn't too sure if he was telling the truth. I just printed that out so I can hang it in our bathroom. Thanks, brother!

Hey man....if Stallone says that's how they're used, THATS HOW THEY'RE FUCKING USED. :p

But if you can come up with any better explanations, I would love to read them.

I think the three seashells were ornamental buttons, one activating the anal shampoo jet, one controlling the water jet, and one controlling the blow dry mechanism.

Haha! Right, that's how Stallone would fantasize they were used, that pervy roid ranger, fecal fetishist.

I thought something along these lines was the natural conclusion based on how ill at ease the future version of the society happened to be and how fixated they were on using technology and social niceities to insulate themselves.

Ace, if what you say is true, and they have remastered it and added footage, then hopefully a Blu-ray is coming down the pipe soon. Demolition Man is part of my Stallone uber trilogy, which also includes Cobra and Rocky IV.
