I was just bored and browsing around when i found this (http://open.salon.com/blog/dalivus/2009/05/02/real_life_zombie_outbreak_not_covered_in_us_media) article. Obviously we never heard about it here in the U.S. but did this actually happen in London? Also is this real or an elaborate forgery? It is a year and a half old mind you. It sounds so nuts at times it's hard to take serious.

And forgive me if this was posted.

Exactly.

Plus it's generally just badly, unprofessionally written and casually drops the "zed word" at the first opportunity, like it was something as mundane and commonplace as a foot-and-mouth outbreak.

Is it really plausible that London - a capital city of roughly the same population as New York, and the world's second most important financial centre - could have been evacuated due to a viral outbreak (let alone a zombie outbreak) back in 2009, without you ever having heard about it until now? The news would be bigger than Katrina!

Poor Trance got suckered! Sorry man. (pats Trance on the back) :D

Hahaha, wow! It's ok! It was right after I read about a parasite that gets in rats brains and makes them voluntarily approach cats, plus I just hit the bizzzong a couple times so I was like wowwwww. Hahaha. Note my skeptisim.

It was right after I read about a parasite that gets in rats brains and makes them voluntarily approach cats,

That was taken from the plot of The Happening...

Alright guys, you've had your fun, ease up, will ya?
Sorry about that... sometimes we take these things and just run with them... a side-effect of boredom, I suppose... but yeah, that article? Unequivocally bogus.

The closest thing to real zombies are these suspicious articles.

Use your imagination; maybe the government is pulling the wool over our eyes and editing these articles. :p
