Why does it say below the reason box OPTIONAL, but you can't make changes without putting in a reason... That is just well... you know... DUMB!

yeah, i'd like to see that "optional" word actually live up to its definition...

It was optional before i changed it but i neglected to change the template defination to take out the word 'optional'. There you go, ive updated it just now for you.

It's optional. You can not put one in and not have your edit posted. Optional.

I'd rather we not put in a reason... does anyone actually care why we edited it, and most of us just write FU or Bacon rules anyway. =0)

I could just stop you being able to edit posts altogether :p
It has a reason, it's collecting data for me and it's not going anywhere, learn to live with it.
