I want to create a website for my film/music. I'm gonna use Adobe Dreamweaver to create it. Can anyone (Neil?) recommend a good/cheap domain hosting place?

Also, exactly what will I need in order to get my site up? I know some domain places will only sell you the domain name then you get charged with hidden fees to actually host your site.

Thanks in advance!

http://www.hostrocket.com/

One of my personal favourites, ive used them before many times and never had any problems.

Bear in mind you will usually pay a monthly price for hosting and annual price for domain registration as they are seperate costs but you shouldnt really be asked to pay anything else.

So will they allow me to host my pages there? When I had GoDaddy they made me host my pages on Angelfire and would just use my .com as a redirecting. Total ripoff.

They let you select how you want to do it, you can buy your domain from anywhere and host it anywhere else, but hostrocket, the ones i recomend, while purchase a domain and set it up for you if you want.

I like FatCow. $78 dollars a year through their front page, but you can find links for discounts like this one (http://www.fatcow.com/fatcow/special-promo.bml?LinkName=No_Name) ($4.67/month, which is $56/year). Plus you get advertising credits for Google Ads, Yahoo, and Facebook. Plus their whole concept just amuses me (cartoon cow, hosting plan features listed like a nutrition label from a bottle of milk, powered 100% by wind energy).
