I was going to put this in the trading/memorabilia section but I know a lot of people don't look at that and what I'm going to start the thread off with isn't even zombie related.

Up for trade:
Anchorman - Rich Mahogany edition

This Blu Ray set is two discs and includes the unreleased spin-off movie, Wake Up Ron Burgundy, which is a feature-length film and has Chuck D from Public Enemy as one of the co-stars. It's slightly action-oriented and has the entire cast of Anchorman (as it was filmed simultaneously). The set also includes a book which is a pretty funny mock journal of Ron Burgundy. And finally, a pack of Anchorman trading cards (which I did not open).

* Extras:
o Audio commentary by Adam McKay, Will Ferrell, Lou Rawls, Andy Richter, Kyle Gass, Paul Rudd, David Koechner and Christina Applegate
o Deleted and Extended Scenes
o Raw Footage - "Good Takes"
o AMC Loews Happy Birthday
o Cast Auditions
o "Table Read 6/2/03"
o Bloopers
o "Afternoon Delight" Music Video
o "Afternoon Delight" Recording Session
o ESPN SportsCenter Audition: Ron Burgundy
o Public Service Announcements
o Awards Speech
o Interviews: from the 2004 MTV Movie Awards"
+ Rebecca Romijn
+ Jim Caviezel
+ Burt Reynolds
o "Cinemax: The Making of Ron Burgundy"
o "Comedy Central's Reel Comedy: Anchorman
o "A Conversation with Ron Burgundy"
o Rehearsals
o "Playback Video"
o "Commercial Break"
o Wake Up, Ron Burgundy: The Lost Movie in HD, with partial commentary

So somebody make me an offer I can't refuse! I'm hoping someone's willing to trade two Blu Ray's for this set considering the extra book and trading cards, and the fact that it is essentially two movies in one pack.

Nobody else has any Blu-Rays they want to trade?

I think Blu Ray may still be early in the game to trade, man. I don't know many people who have too many unwanted BR's. Now if you were talking DVD....I could go all day. I have stuff on my DVD rack that I don't even know how it got there. Still wrapped in plastic.

The only BR I have and don't care for would be Lakeview Terrace. It was a gift. Other than that I only have about 40 or so and I bought them all as keepers...

Go to High Def Digest There are plenty. See the Blu Ray exchange forum.

I have a copy of RE:4 I am willing to part with. I picked up the steelbook edition so my regular release is just collecting dust... pretty much like my Steelbook, but not trading the steelbook.

I also have ZOmbieland, regular US release... this is another I have in Steelbook format.

I've got a BR copy of "Near Dark" if anyone is interested... got it as an xmas present, watched it once. That was enough. Many people hold the film in high regard, but one viewing was enough for me. ;)

The reason I didn't go there and would rather do trading here is simple: I know and trust [most of] you guys.

Anyone got anything good to trade for my wife's LOTR trilogy and Twilight films?

I'll be in the doghouse for a while, but at least I won't have to see them again...

Just curious, Mike....why are you looking to get rid of Anchorman? That seems like a good one to hold on to and revisit every so often.

Because I bought it, forgetting we already own it on DVD. It's an expensive Blu Ray, so I'd rather take the quality hit and keep the standard DVD in order to get other Blu Rays.

I'll give you $1 for LOTR, throw in Twilight for free. They will make great beer coasters.

Keep the blu-Ray toss the DVD

Ok, how much you want for Near Dark?

That is two films we disagree on. Piranha 3D, which kicks ass, and now NEar Dark... WTF, have you been smoking schwag or something?

They are pretty strick on trading, plus you can also set guidlines that no one with less than X amount of trades can do business with you.

Also, you may want to eBay that... seems Anchor Man TRME, is OOP

Nah, because I know there are people out there that want the Blu Ray. Personally, I don't need my comedies to be in High Def - I mainly only buy movies that are visually stunning and/or action-packed on Blu Ray. The only reason I bought the Anchorman set is because I had forgotten we already have it. Now I'm kicking myself in the ass for spending so much money on it.

Understandable.

If I didn't already own it on HD DVD I would have grabbed it... I still say eBay it
