For all Back to the Future Fans

I found this cool little bit, with footage taken from Back to the Future 1 and 2. Basicly, it's the final dance in both films synched with each other on splitscreen. So you can see what happens in Part 1 and 2 at the same time. Sort off.

This will only make any sense if you've seen both films.

I've always loved that scene in "Part II". I think that would probably be the only sequel in history to actually go back into the events of the original film...

Speaking of...I saw an episode of "Family Guy" on Adult Swim last night that had a pretty funny "BTTF" reference. It was at the begining of "Part II" when they're flying over Hill Valley in the future and Jennifer is in the time machine with them:

Doc: "It's your kids, Marty. Something's got to be done about your kids!"
Marty: "What happens?"
Doc: "One of them marries a black man"
Marty: ".....Uh, that's really no big deal"
Doc: "But it's your kids, marty....with a black man"
Marty: "yeah....I really don't care"

Family guy got the science of Back to the future spot on, Peters time machine car crashes through a wall (after he jumps) explodes and sets people on fire they run outside engulfed in flames, he stands there perplexed saying "wow! people in 1955 were on fire!"

That was wicked, goes out-of-synch a bit (probably down to the low quality encode though), but it was really cool to see the two events spliced together (especially as I'm such a big BTTF fan and student of film).

You know, if you guys are in the Detroit area August 4th or 5th the Main Art Theater in Royal Oak is having a midnight showing of Back to the Future on the big screen. Their whole Midnight Madness runs every weekend until the beginning of September.
