A question about what I guess is a picture or photo.

I keep seeing the use of this image in TV and magazines coming from the US so I guess it's a famous image over there.

It's a picture from across the road of a corner dinner with a couple sitting at the bar and a guy serving them. Looks like it could be from the 50s.

Any ideas?
