Howdy:
Yesterday marked my two year anniversary here at HPotD as an active poster even though I've been technically around much longer (hell, I remember when this place was still on the old fozznet.uk server back in the 90's when I was a high school kid writing absolutely shitty fiction that can still be located in the cobwebs). I was a much different person back in high school when this place started up originally, but this board and the great people here have really made an impact on me in life and I'm very happy to be here.
Though none of us see eye to eye on many things, and I'm certainly vocal at times as others, I want to let all of you know I consider each and every one of you here to be a part of my life. I check this board every day at work and home and it's good to know I'm not the only perverted-depraved screwed-up horror-loving zombie-fan out there. There's at least a few more folks equally as crazy as I am and it feels good to know this.
So, tonight, I lift up my fine Milwaukee's Best I'm holding here to the fine folks here at HPotD in a thank you and a "Salut!" for the existence of this screwed up place and all you equally screwed up people. I'm glad to know each and every person here and to have an opportunity to share my mind with each of you.
Except maybe you, Gary, you're just an asshole. :p:D
