If you don't exactly feel like cooking out with friends and family, drinking large quantities of alcohol, and fooling with fireworks this fourth of July holiday.....you're in luck.

VOOM'S Monsters HD channel will be airing a marathon of all things zombie starting July 3rd and yes...it's got all the greats, folks(and some not-so-great):

NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD
DAWN OF THE DEAD
DAY OF THE DEAD
THE RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD II
EVIL DEAD
CHUD
CHUD II
DEAD HEAT
TOMBS OF THE BLIND DEAD
RETURN OF THE EVIL DEAD
GHOST SHIP OF THE BLIND DEAD
DEAD ALIVE
HOUSE OF 1,000 CORPSES

Just thought you guys would like to know. Sounds like it's at least something good to have on the tube all day so you can get some feasting action in while grabbing a brew from the fridge.

In other, totally different news.....Have you guys heard of a film called "Dorm of the Dead"? Whatever it is, it conains hot women and dead things....so I'm there with bells on. The DVD is being released on August 1st, 2006. I even read that Howard Stern is helping to promote this thing....so that's got to tell you something...

Dorm looks almost as bad as that German flick that was mentioned here awhile back, "Night of the Living Losers". Didn't that one also have college kids and zombie hijinks?

See, as bad as this movie sounds, they've at least got one part right in making it soft-core pornish. Boll's HOTD didn't even get that part right.

Here's abit of trivia of one of Dorm's actresses.

Biography for
Andrea Ownbey

Birth name
Andrea Brook Ownbey
Nickname
America's Dumbest Stripper
Miss Howard Stern
Trade mark

Yeah. Actually, I think I was the one that mentioned that flick. Those kinds of flicks aren't exactly my cup of tea, but I know there are people around here that like them. Also, everyone is always talking about a list of all the zombie flicks out there.....so this is one more for the fire.

Ghost ship of the blind dead (aka Ghost Gallion) is the third film in the 'Blind Dead'-series by Amando De Ossorio featuring undead Templar knights.
They are spanish films and quite entertaining. The first two are called Tombs and Return of the blind dead. There's also a fourth one: Night of the seagulls if i'm not mistaken
