ok im not THAT old, but does anyone else remember the game system that played sega, snes and sega cd? i know it existed......



theres a semi related version on ebay,but its not the same one.

Well, if it did exist, it wouldn't be something mainstream or possibly even legal. Sega and Nintendo never shared hardware rights with each other back in the day.

I know there were plenty of knock off systems back in the day, but I don't remember one that could jump brands like that. I know within the last few years a similar(legal) system has been released, but nothing from the time of the originals' launch. Something about the companies letting their copyrights lapse, so now there are systems that combine nes, snes, and sega.

Edit: Here (http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2008/01/ces-2008-retro/) are the legal crossover systems I was thinking of.

If what you're talking about existed back in the 90's it most likely would have been illegal.

That would be my guess too. Not legal.
Sega and Nintendo weren't best buddies...
