I've been listening to the Creepshow soundtrack on the journey to work recently (yeah, I'm a weirdo) and included on the album are tracks from a few other projects that John Harrison scored for Romero. For the most parts, the projects in question were Tales From the Darkside episodes, but there are a couple of tracks from something called Shoobie Doobie Moon that got me really intrigued. The have a sort of 1950s rock-b-roll musical sound to them, very Rocky Horror, even moreso than the later abandoned Romero project Diamond Dead, which was to be an undead musical (but unrelated to SDM, it was written by someone else). I can find nothing on Shoobie Doobie Moon other than it was an abandoned Romero film from the 80s, was probably a Laurel production and things progressed to the point that a soundtrack was at least partially recorded. Can anyone shed further light on this?
