Hey all!

I'm back to plug Detenion of the Dead again and this time I've attached the new teaser trailer. Please take a look and share with other dead-heads!! I'm actively pluggin this film because my son and I had the pleasure of being extras in it and I'd really love to see it generate some good buzz. DOTD was shot on location at Lincoln Middle School in Pontiac Michigan during May of 2011. It is slated for a 2012 (hopefully theatrical) release.

ABOUT THE FILM:
Comedy and Horror unite in this “The Breakfast Club” meets “Shaun of the Dead” tale about a group of oddball high school students who find themselves trapped in detention during a Zombie Apocalypse. Can they put their differences aside and work together to survive the night? Fat chance! This is High School after all.

Directed by Alex Craig Mann, DOTD stars Jayson Blair, Chrsista B. Allen, Alexa Nikolas, Justin Chon, Jacob Zachar and Max Adler and is currently in post production. There are some great pics and info on the site and the new teaser trailer looks pretty badass! It'd mean a lot to me if you could check out the official link below and share the site/video links as much as possible. It really makes a difference for indy films like this.

Thanks everyone and I'll post more details and links as they become available.

Best,Todd (ghoulman)

Looks well filmed, good production values, and could be funny.

Best of luck and thanks for the teaser.

Thanks Thorn! I believe folks who enjoyed Shaun of the Dead, Zombieland, Evil Dead films and the like will enjoy this. But I am a little biased and I definitely could be wrong.

Now, I do wish you all the best put putting one of the (for many folks at least) all time classics right next to zombieland (which was fun but no classic IMO) is a bit weird. That teaser suggested some Porky's meets zombies shenanigans and could be fun, but man, those leads look like they could get really annoying fast!

Yeah, wow, it does look pretty nicely done. I'd definitely check it out. That last part with the guy holding the head looked a little Survival of the Deadish FX-wise, though...
Still, I'd give 'er a twirl.

Looks like a talented cast and director behind this movie.
Thanks for brining it to our attention.
