A 15-year-old boy was tortured and drowned by his sister and her boyfriend because they believed he was a witch, the Old Bailey has heard.

Kristy Bamu, from Paris, was found dead in Newham, east London, on Christmas Day in 2010.

The boy had 101 injuries and died from being beaten with a metal bar and drowning, the court heard.

Well, yeah. If you import part of African society to the UK without worrying much about whether the immigrants assimilate to British culture, then you'll have the kinds of incidents that occur in Africa. Shouldn't be too much of a surprise. There was the case of Victoria Climbié several years back and a number of other cases falling short of death. Same goes for female circumcision and honour killings among various immigrant groups.

damn. pretty much what i was going to say. this sort of of idiocy happens every day in africa. what makes the UK any different if the people are allowed to move there without any effort being made to assimilate them into british society - along with hammering home the idea that stuff like this bullshit is unacceptable under any and all circumstances, isn't protected by "religious freedom", and will not be tolerated.
