Ach, you're an old fart, Neil. :sneaky::p:lol:
The first two movies came out at the right time for me and my peers, so it was like getting in on the ground floor. They felt like movies for my generation - so I'll gladly go and see AP4 for the nostalgia alone. It's good that they're getting all of the gang back together again (AP3 was a little bit flat/awkward because not everyone was there and they just ignored that fact) ... so it'll be interesting to see Reunion. :)

Yeah it was the same for me, I must have been around 17 when the first one came out and it was just the right time when we were all of that age i.e. horny teenagers who thought we were more grown up than we were, trying to get laid & generally just ripping the piss out of each other constantly. The second one where they hired that place and had a huge party was good too, it made me want to do all that kind of stuff with my friends! I find I cant watch them now though, I thought they were hilarious, but now they just remind me that those days have passed & I'm getting older which saddens me a bit. Its the same with The Inbetweeners, I love it and find it hilarious, but I feel a bit sad inside that those days are long in the past for me. maybe I'm just weird

The first one had some good laughs, but I never cared much for the sequels. The official sequels, anyway. I never saw the seemingly hundreds of direct-to-dvd spin offs starring Eugene Levy.
I won't go out of my way or pay to see Reunion, but i'll check it out eventually.

I'll give it a look. Shannon Elizabeth is still holding up pretty well last time I saw her, though she never did quite fall into porn the way I was hoping she would.

Ditto on that. :D
I enjoy the first two movies quite a bit - I get quite a nostalgic vibe off them ... but I supposed it is a little melancholly-inducing too, as it reminds you of days gone by. The Inbetweeners is hilarious, but also cringe-inducing because it's remarkably all-too familiar when you look back, heh...

Yeah, the 2nd film was released the Summer before 9/11 and....<embarrassing fact> was the soundtrack I listened to on my way into work on 9/11...the reason I had the radio on and didn't know what was going on till I got into the office.
Don't ever say I don't reveal less than complimentary things about myself.

I'm not even looking backwards towards the ones that have already passed. After my heyday as well...
I'd rather scrape the back of my thighs with a cheese grater and then squat in a bowl of gin.

Same here.
If it happens to be on TV and I am channel surfing I might watch it.... oh wait... I cut the cable 2 years ago, so that would be a big fat NO

Ha, I saw it. It was either this or John Carter at the discount theater. I will admit it had a few chuckles, but that was pretty much the Stifler moments. Without him and Jason Biggs this would've been a complete fail. I still thought it was a snoozefest, with them spending a lengthy time perusing a yearbook together, among other things.
I didn't really get alot of their inside jokes connecting them back to other movies, nor did I find them interesting enough to fondly recall. I think I've only seen enough of the first one to know much more than who was in it. A few people showed up at the end in cameos. I guess if you jizzed your pants over this back in '99, you'd maybe love this. I did not. They were also about 3 years too late for a class reunion. Coming soon, American Funeral.
(We can only hope.)
