Honestly, why this commercial was banned is beyond me. I only saw it once when I was like 10, and it's the only Nike commercial that I can vividly remember in detail.

Seriously, how could a freaking shoe company get this right but all these new cutting edge horror directors blow it with all the new crap they're putting out now? The psycho killer's expression of 'aw the hell with this' at the end is just priceless!

I think it was also the fact that it was pretty cutting edge for its time. Remember, I did say that I saw this back in the early 90's. As far as tv commercials went, I don't think anyone had attempted to use a scary theam for product advertisement that much back then. The only other horror theamed commerical I can think of around that time was an Alien Pepsi one. Plus, our standard of what was acceptable on regular tv has been really pushed quite a bit further over the last 20 years.
