There is what they are calling an announcement trailer for the live action Transformers movie. It's less than a teaser trailer... you get a minor glimpse of a transformer.

Still enough to get my interest....

I actually saw a Teaser Trailer on Youtube yesterday. It was taken down shortly after, though. I guess the studio folks found out about it...

The movie looks like it could be good, but I have one problem: Micheal Bay. Sure, he's made some good ones.....but he's also made some not-so-good ones..

Can you believe some transfans are whinging that it looks like it's a ET conspiracy movie? It's a TEASER not a frickin trailer and teasers have a tendancy to tease.
There's complaints that the robot designs look bad, well weve only seen one obscured form in the entire thing and it's probably not going to be in the film.

i was born in 88 so i grew up with em in full swing, i prefered em more than those thundercats, which were like cenobytes for kids...*shudders*.... and i hope the origional prime and megatron do the voices, the ones from that lame ass armada show sucks its all camp.

I must be the only person who has no interest in a Transformers film. I really don't care to see it, nor do I think a film should have been made. The cartoon wasn't all that great, so i have zero interest in a live action film.

In a way....I understand where he's coming from. He doesn't want to tarnish the wonderful original film with ANOTHER sequel(Aykroyd, Ramis, and Reitman had trouble getting him into "Ghostbusters 2").

But still.....it is f*cked up that he would choose a "Garfield" sequel and not a "Ghostbusters". Even after Aykroyd changed the script so that his character would only have a cameo.:dead:

Money does weird things to people, I guess. But he's still funny and still one of the greats:D . At least we have the first "Ghostbusters" to fall back on. The sequel is okay for an occasional viewing if you're a fan of the franchise....


Anyway......anything new 'bout "Transformers"?:p

Interesting. A live action Transformers. Only two things are going to get me to go see that.
1. If Megatron, though being much larger than Starscreamer, can change into a pistol small enough for his underling to use. I would go just to see the look on the audience's faces as they wonder, 'how the hell is that possible?'.
2. For humor sake, having the autobot that talks like he just swallowed an entire kilo of speed.

The size change won't happen at all in the movie, Megatron is going to be a tank, if soundwave appears he could come in as a stealth bomber or something.
I'd love to see gunship and Aircraft carrier transformers in this one, if any of the jets are going to be in it, that would be a suitable platform for them to attack from.

Ah man, the size change has always been one of my adult pet peeves from my favorite childhood show. I doubt they'll be having the deceptacon that's a casset player and shoots the tape critters from his chest either.
