I wonder if Rick will lose his hand? Seems like a lot of extra work for each episode...maybe it wouldn't be

Im almost 100% certain they have already said that wont be happening in the TV series and kirkman regrets doing it in the comics.. no doubt in my mind rick, michonne and glenn will get captured and tortured by the governor though.. thats even IF the governor appears in season 3, it'll probably be towards the end of the season if he does and he certainly wont break up the prison until season 4. Just think how long they spend in the prison compared to the farm in the comic books ;)

kirkman regrets doing it in the comics.

Which is a shame, because it was well done and showed Kirkman had some sack when it came to writing. I agree that it would be problematic in the tv show, though.

Andy's correct. I don't have a link on hand, but Kirkman has definitely said in interviews that it created problems further into the story and he wouldn't make that mistake in the tv series.

Although, i've always felt a certain scene in episode 102 made reference to that....

I Predict that season 3 will *loosly* depict the events of volumes 3 and 4 of the paperbacks.

Without giving any spoilers away for those who havnt read them.

As it should, it was a major "deal" in the comics. It deserves a lot of screen time.

Mazzara has said on Twitter before that they just can't do some of the things in the comic due to it being a weekly tv series, that was in reply to the above.
Imagine the logistics!

Truth they have said the one location that we have talked about was going to be used and was going to be in 2 seasons worth of episodes so... all good there.

And of course I clicked it... damn!

Actually that sort of thing is okay for me personally I had a feeling that would be something we would see.

Great link!

While it was a major portion of the comics, dragging out 26 episodes I'm not sure. TV time fills a lot more time than comic time does. Although knowing the TV show will change things up some will be good.

I Didnt wanna come to the forums in case i spotted a spoiler and inadvertently pressed on it. at least until i finished with season 2. lol.

But yeah season 2 finale sprung up a feq daunting questions, especially those who werent into the comics. so, Michonne! lets see how she faces up to rick's group. obviously theres gonna be some tension and confusion there because she does have armless walkers following her around. lol. And of course rick's bad ass attitude is proving to be pretty much taking him over after the whole shit with shane. i think hes gonna turn even more asshole-ish and even though his relationship with carl and lori have hit a wall, it might turn worse. i dont see getting any better because i dont think lori will be able to look at him the same way again for killing shane. regardless of it being self defence. but im not sure. :/. he might turn over a new leaf. lol. But i really reeeally wanna see how michonne fits in with the current story. :).

This past Christmas I asked Santa for these Walking Dead things in season 3:

1. Steven Segal be included in the cast.
2. The song and dance musical episode in Rick's dream.
