Just seen this on IGN
"Have you ever wondered how you'd fare in the zombie apocalypse? If you answered "no," you're a liar. If you're like the rest of us, you ponder your strategy probably more often than you should.
Now, Robert Kirkman and Skybound/Image Comics are giving you the chance to put those strategies to the test with The Walking Dead Escape, a multi-day event that coincides with San Diego Comic-Con, held July 12-15. Taking place inside San Diego's Petco Park, Escape will put its participants into a zombie-themed obstacle course in which they can act as a Survivor who races through the infected zone, a Walker that embraces their destiny as the undead, or simply a Spectator that observes the madness.
The official release says, "Survivors will climb, crawl and slide in an effort to avoid confrontation by hordes of Walkers, while achieving the ultimate adventure on The Walking Dead-themed obstacle course. The Walking Dead Escape is not a race, and Survivors are not timed, but the end is near, and they must move swiftly. If they’re lucky, Survivors will reach the decontamination zone at the end where it will be determined if they have been infected."
"Our fans have been reading about it, watching it and now they get to live it with The Walking Dead Escape," said Kirkman. "We are literally transforming Petco Park into the early days of society’s collapse and San Diego is just the first city to fall."
The Walking Dead Escape promises to have many references throughout for die-hard fans of the comic book, which also hits its landmark 100th issue in July."
