Hi, my name is Brandon. As a child, I used to visit the Homepage of the Dead quite frequently. I spent a lot of time here, having some great conversations with lots of interesting people. When I was twelve I even wrote a poem called "The Beasts" that was featured on the site. (http://fiction.homepageofthedead.com/forum.pl?readfiction=60H)

At the age of thirteen I was diagnosed with a cerebellum brain tumor and underwent brain surgery. On the day before my surgery I had my father bring a laptop into the hospital room. I spent what might have been my last day on Earth surfing the Homepage of the Dead. I told all my cyber friends about my upcoming surgery and they wished me well. It was the first time I realized that friendships started on the Internet could be just as meaningful as those made in real life.

But that was thirteen years ago. Now I have a job at a local advertising agency. I work with a lot of likeminded people who all love horror movies. We even discussed making our own zombie movie. I wrote the screenplay for "Camp St. Zombie" and if we raise enough money we plan to start shooting at the end of the summer. Our Kickstarter page is here. (http://www.campstzombie.com)

I’m not asking for donations or trying to solicit money. I would simply like the users of this site to take a look at our page. Watch our video and let me know what you think about the story. This is the website where my love of zombies originated and it would mean a lot to hear your feedback.

Thanks
