Feeders (1996) - one of those "best worst" movies

I just reviewed this movie for blog. It's a flick that the fans of trash out there will appreciate.


Pursued by the hungry puppets, the pair take refuge in an isolated house, only to discover that aliens have turned the owner into a Halloween prop. It might appear silly now, but when you've spent the best part of an hour watching those blu-tack-and-lollipop-stick aliens romping across the countryside, this seems like a perfectly acceptable gore effect:

Believe it or not, these guys were making SOV flicks right up until 2008, when John Polonia died. A movie they made in 2000 called Blood Red Planet (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0275229/) is my favourite spaceship movie shot in a garage. Mark Polonia has continued on alone, but I think he shoots on digital now.
