Trying to remember a recent zombie film

It was some European film about a group that take refuge in an abandoned airfield during winter but then they go out to gather supplies and find more members including one man who held out in a prison cell for weeks. They encounter mutated zombies (much like Left 4 Dead) and eventually go on the road stopping at a monestary until they are forced to leave Europe because nuclear rods start exploding.

Sounds generic and possibly quite good as well? How was it?

I found it again it was Extinction: The GMO Chronicles.

How in the name of christ do they keep getting zombie films so wrong....honestly.
