Any musicians here?

Hey, I was just wondering if there were any other musicians lingering around the HpotD community.

Myself, I am mainly a singer/songwriter, but I also play guitar and piano. I've been working on preparations to begin record some tunes for my demo CD for several months now. I've been recording for about a month or so. Hopefully, I'll have something online soon. I have a MySpace Music page and a Pure Volume page, but needing tunes. So yeah...I need to get working.

I am. I've got a shload of solo stuff that I just create one day when I'm bored, record like 10 crappy songs in a few hours, and forget about them. I guess a couple people on here might dig them somewhat, but most people probably won't feel it, haha. You can check them out, if you want:

My serious band also has a MySpace but it only recordings from years ago on it. We're currently in the studio finishing up recording for our debut EP and a couple splits that are coming out. http://www.myspace.com/bsom

yeah i played in many bands when i was younger
now i just sit in on freinds recordong sessios or will
jump up on stage to play a few songs

i can play keyboards best but also play bass and i lie acoustic guitar better than electric

i always get asked to jam on pink floyd songs
or led zeppelin
(stuff like comfortably numb, kashmir, great gig in the sky,...)
i enjoy playing the older stuff
i refuse to play whiter shade of pale cuz i hate it
but i will play smoke on the water, space trucking, child in time,
perfect strangers cuz i like deep purple

then there are beatles and doors which are great jams

the studio stuff is originals that my freinds bands have
and they vary from all kinds of stuff

i also wrote s bunch of stuff with a freind but i never bothered
to do anything with it
after seeing what life was like on tour with a friends band i said
i would never live like that

Got a new Strat American Hw1 recently. Love it. Also have a Les Paul Gibson that I crunch out on. GArrison acoustic is my other.

Bass guitar is my main instrument but I play around with a few others...

Basses - Warwick Corvette 5 string, Ibanez Soundgear 4 string, and Fender Jazz 4 string

Guitars - Gibson Les Paul Studio, Taylor acoustic

Drums - Gretsch kit with mostly zildjian cymbals and DW hardware

Fender FB-55 Banjo

Roland digital 24 track recorder

Tascam 4 track recorder

Yamaha EMX5000 PA

I play guitar ('62 Telecaster, Korean Strat, Yamaha 12 string acoustic, Fender 6 string acoustic), bass (Yamaha), Banjo (Melodier), keyboard (casio), harmonica (hohner set of all keys), and drums but I don't have a set. Used to play in bands in high school. I jam around with friends from time to time but mostly I just jam by myself at the crib and dick around with my 4-track recorder. My influences are Joe Walsh, Slash and Jimi Hendrix. I also sing a bit too.
