Some of the footage reminds me of those parasites that live on fish tongues? That people find when they get fish home? Cymothoa exigua.

This will be in my Netflix queue the moment it is available!
In fact, it is going to be # 1 on my 2013 Halloween Movie Horror Marathon wait list!

Good review from AICN - http://www.aintitcool.com/node/59453
Like JAWS before it, THE BAY may well be that movie that keeps you out of the water for a while, and also like that movie, you might want to explore the movie's ideas and ecology after you see it. THE BAY didn't have to be as good as it was, but Levinson isn't pulling punches here at all. The last 20 minutes of the movie could be frightening to anyone who lets it in, and I'll admit that THE BAY got me. At times, it got me good.

If it's half as disturbing as that picture of that doojimmie livin' on that fish's tongue I'll flip the freak out. That thing is effen gross. :barf:

Looks ok. But I have to say, I'm getting pretty fed up with every second film being a "found footage" job. They're always let down by the "acting" that goes on. It other words, they're never truly convincing because the actors act.
Watched 'Apollo 18' the other night and it was pretty rubbish.

Look at who MAKES most of them though. They're usually indie flicks by unknown directors. The very fact that a director of Levinson's talent is involved give me some hope this might be more than a run-of-the-mill affair.

Saw it last night. Not too shabby. It gets a bit boring in places, more heavy with the ecological theme than horror, but really that is what sticks with you from the film anyways. It's definitely creepy as all get out though. I'm not swimming in the ocean any time soon after seeing that!. . . . .by the by. . . not a zombie movie. . . not at all.

Well, that sucks! Thanks for the review, though :)
