For reasons pertaining to my personal life i have taken the decision to step down from position here, neil is now the sole administrator until he decides if he wants to appoint someone or not.. i am no longer connected with HPotD or HPotD business, please do not contact me again.

Thankyou.

Shame, hope your departure isn't a bitter one from these forums, I've always thought you a good poster on here. Take care dude.

Never noticed how much of an undercurrent of passive-aggressive douchery there was around here till I read some of these replies. :(

Administrating a forum like this isn't something that wins you a 100% friendship rate, and you are always going to have to do shit that divides opinion, but as someone who knows a little bit about those reasons pertaining to his personal life (which are obviously private), I just want to say that - whatever people's opinions of decisions he's made over the years as Administrator, positive, negative or indifferent - Andy is a good human being and a friend, and I for one hope that when time and personal circumstances allow he will eventually return to HPotD, even if only as a regular member. I really wish him all the best.

Amen! He's been a huge (& at times invaluable) part of this forum, both behind the scenes and just as a regular poster... Really do hope he returns! :(

My request for the removal of the reason for editing reguirement may have been a bit premature. Although I did really hate that thing.

Anyway, all the best, Andy.

This thread was going off topic, what with the discussion about 10yr old forums etc. So I've removed those off-topic posts...
