if you want to be seriously tested, both in game skills and the ability to think and plan ahead, here is a suggestion:
-get one of the FIFA games.
-play it in manager mode, which allows you to control a team for years on end.
-select a team from England's lowest divison
-take said team to the Premier League.
I have just accomplished this with Shrewsbury. all the way from league 2 to the top. it took WAY more seasons to do than i thought it would and there were times i didn't think that either i or the game would make it.
