I have to say I thought that part was all a bit Jerry Springer, I was expecting "bitch, my man ain't yo baby's daddy!" to come flying out of left field. It's moments like that, just the choice of dialogue really, that is one of the downsides of the new Doctor Who's - it's like in 28x01 - "New Earth" with that line saying "oh my god, I'm a chav!"...

First of all, that's just such a lame, audience-poking line. Secondly, it makes no sense as Rose is blates not a chav. Do you see slicked back hair with a poof at the back? Do you see a baseball cap 24/7? Do you see tracksuits by Adidas? Does she swear lazily every other word? Does she mooch off the tax payer?

Answer to them all - no. Hence, she's no chav. Besides, Rose was actually pretty hot ... chavs are plainly and simply not attractive, they're just "yuck" personified.
