I have to admit, however, the light RPG elements, the grind of constantly depleting status meters and the unfailing joy of creating a new toy from scavenged parts made developer EKO’s offering a lot more fun than I had initially expected. Even if the lasting value is limited, “How to Survive” offers enough short-term appeal to warrant a glance.
