Not sure if this is the right section, but I just finished a song that uses a sample from Gorillaz' 'Hip Albatross' from the film 'Dawn of the Dead' and thought someone here might want to listen to it. Long shot, I know, but darn it, sometimes I miss this place. Anyway if you really like it, it's a free download and can be found here: http://pizzaskitch.bandcamp.com/track/vineyard-revenant
Critiques would be nice, as long as they're not something so banal as 'this sucks!'.

like the funkyness. Reminds me of some 'art of noise' stuff from way back.
Here's something I whipped up with a guitar and a four track.

This is beautiful! Thank you for sharing. And thanks for comparing it to Art of Noise, 'cause I love those guys. One of my favorite songs from an 80's music collection I have is 'Close (to the edit)', I think it's called. So thank you. :)

While we're all here sharing music, check out my latest track inspired by the work of John Carpenter:

Pretty funky stuff. Like all the ridiculous sound design, some good sound effects in there.

Really digging the melodies of this track, very catchy! Very tasteful guitar playing. That melody is very reminiscent of Savatage, actually, kind of reminds me of "When the Crowds Are Gone" I believe.
