Saw it tonight. It wasn't horrible, but I wanted that stupid volcano to blow its top so I could go home. They tried to Titanic it up there at the end, but we all know how it all goes...
Nothing special. The whole gladiators duking it out and being saved by the poopstorm of hot liquid magma, added to a love smitten kitten couldn't save it. Maybe if I'd been in the mood, or a bigger and better screening with a full audience, who knows? But, yeah, I'm giving this a thumbs down.
It might make some dough, though. I don't think much else came out. Maybe LEGO's will win it again.

I always felt this Anderson character has a reverse Midas touch: wether it be zombies, musketeers or now Pompeii, every good thing he touches turns to shit.
