It seriously messes with my mind that this happened 12 MILLION years ago...and we just see it today...space is scary big (and depressingly big).

It might have...999 years ago...we'll get to see the light show next year! :D

Honestly though...this stuff bends the brain when you start thinking about the distances, the time lag, the power released by them etc. :)
