Plenty of footage of a spiteful, hateful God in action...

What's your problem? is it really so hard to believe the all powerful, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent perfect creator of the universe drowned everyone for his screw up? Is it that hard to conceive the all powerful heavenly father couldn't find another way?
Take sophistimacated feology you afeist!!!!!

Also, why was only Noah and his family that "were good"?
Was it pure chance, or did God given them special attention to make them so?
Either way it's still rather stupid...

God was the first Troll. "Don't eat this apple" (*eats apple*) "Fall from grace".

AICN loves it - http://www.aintitcool.com/node/66727
See it because Aronofsky rarely disappoints, and this film is damn near a masterpiece.
CinemaBlend is fairly impressed with it. 3.5/5 - http://www.cinemablend.com/reviews/Noah-6782.html

Couldn't care less about the biblical background of the story. It's Darren Aronofsky. Anything the man makes is pure gold, so I'm there.

Well, this time he created a gold plated dog turd. The CG in this was horrendous. Other than that, it was mainly a snoozefest full of a bunch of non upper echelon ho hum actors and such. Not sure how I could ruin this worse than actually seeing it, so I will keep from any, uhhhh... spoilers?
I'm pretty sure I'm not alone because apparently there was this busload of escapees from the local nursing home, and they all bought tickets to see it. Most of them were asleep within 15 minutes...
I guess all you have to do is slap some crap on the bible and serve it on up on the big screen and people will just eat it all up and probably ask for seconds. I haven't looked up the numbers yet, but I bet it makes some semi serious dough. Anyhoo, I personally didn't enjoy it. The whole thing, even the ho hum actual flooding of the world, just stank, and the whole rainbow rings ending summed it up perfectly. No one applauded like they normally do at one of these Jesusfests, everyone just kindly of mutely shuffled out.
Hope word of mouth kills it before too many people get roped in and they have to make the sequel...
NOAH 2 : CRUISE CONTROL
(Sorry, I couldn't come up with anything better than that.)

I like my fantasy a little more grounded than this sort of thing. Give me hobbits, or if you want to go ancient world Gilgamesh or a more thoughtful treatment on the origin of the flood myth, perhaps.

Everyone was in the fertile crescent before they were washed away by the wroth of god, Ned. Then god made back people...sort of as an afterthought. This was way back in olden times shortly after the dawn of the universe, but before god laid down the commandments, such as thou shall not kill and thou shall abide mine right to bear firearms...like 5,000 years ago.
Don't you have any Bibles in your country?
