Don't know if you caught this amazing short back in 2010, but it's worth a watch!
Anyway, seems we now have an Adam Sandler film based on it coming out - http://www.polygon.com/2014/3/26/5549776/pixels-film-to-feature-adam-sandler-starts-shooting-this-summer
Peter Dinklage is also attached! Director is Chris Columbus who's worked on films such as The Goonies, Gremlins and Harry Potter.
