Looking over his filmography I was pleasantly surprised to come to the realisation that Bob Hoskins featured in a quite a few of fav movies from youth. Hook, Brazil, The Long Good Friday and Captain Jack. But like most his most iconic image will always be his role in Who Framed Roger Rabbit-specifically how flustered he'd get around Jessica Rabbit:

His acting in that scene is kinda what sells you on the sex appeal of a cartoon character. Which is why I'll probably make myself a poster print (http://print24.com/uk/product/posters/) here of this scene.

Words cannot describe how sad I am. Who Framed Roger Rabbit is my favorite movie of all time.

Hoskins was a great actor. Not always the best at choosing roles, but who is? I believe the last movie I saw him in was Stay and have been missing him ever since. Sad news indeed.
