Hmmm ... I'm not sure that's really going to happen. They've said a lot in the past that they wouldn't bring either character back. Something that was said about the new season is that there'll be three leads (so, perhaps, one of those leads could be Rust ... but I'm still not convinced) and it'll be set in California/Los Angeles, but looking at areas that don't get a lot of coverage, so I'm looking forward to seeing another side of a familiar city from our screens.
