Comedian and TV host Joan Rivers has died, her daughter has said.

Rivers, 81, had been on life support in Mount Sinai Hospital since having a cardiac arrest in New York last week.

I did like her earlier stuff, but it seemed that as time went on, mostly it was just plain mean. But let's wish her well in that great ethereal comedy club; wherever she ultimately ends up ... oh come on! :)
