The discovery of an enormous tomb in northern Greece, dating to the time of Alexander the Great of Macedonia, has enthused Greeks, distracting them from a dire economic crisis.

Alexander was set to be buried i Macedon / Greece and his body was on his way there when Ptolemy I, one of his several successors, stole the body and brought it to Egypt. In Egypt Alexander was mummified and buried in a tomb there. We know Alexanders body remained there well into Roman times as Octavian, just before becoming Augustus Caesar, visited the tomb a few dozen years before the birth of christ.

In any case, it might very well be the unused Tomb of Alexander, but his body would not be buried there. Still excititing to think of who it could be... Antipater or Cassander struck by a case of hubris perhaps?
